マンホールは丸い
今日も１日お疲れ様でした！
今日は自社の仕事についての記事ではなく、少し前に聞いた話題をご紹介します。
マンホールの形はなぜ丸いのでしょうか
この話題を振ってくれたのは、工事部係長である”西田 奨” さんです。
実際この問いはマイクロソフトの入社試験にも出てきた事があるそうです。
なぜ、マンホール（Man Hole）という名前なのか,丸(円)の持つ性質は何なのか
に着目すると答えがでてきそうですね。
私自身はその問の答えにはたどりつけませんでしたが、、、
また、四角のマンホールとの違いはなんなのかも一緒に考えてみると付随して知識が増えますね。
丸い理由を知れたことで重量工事での据え付けや運搬、玉掛ひとつにしても安全に対する意識は少し変わり、ひとつひとつの小さな事柄や物に対して考える様になりました。
答えを知るのは簡単ですが1度考える事で脳はインプットされやすくなります。
